Our Wal Mart sells MEK.  I use it for thinning fuel tank sealer when it 
gets a little too thick...as recommended by the mfg.  A good friend who has 
an excellent auto electric shop had a big problem after years of using 
Stodard solvent to clean parts...with no gloves.  Major joint aches, 
dizziness, shortness of breath, etc.  Even spent some time in the 
hospital.  He won't touch the stuff these days without super gloves and a 
respirator.    John
