I don't know your situation, but would it not be possible to fill a metal
bucket or some sort of metal box with a long handle with wood coals and
place it under the motor and drape the hood with a tarp or quilt or welding
blanket? Depending on the tractor design that could warm the oil. coolant
and battery.

Related sort of... we just had what we around here consider a major snow
storm with 6-8 inches of snow. I went to get out the Mahindra with a scrape
blade to plow my drive and my road for my neighbors. It has a key position
counter-clockwise for glow plug warm up but I skipped that and turned the
key to start the tractor. It was smarter than me and warmed the glow plugs
(lighting the indicator light) before it engaged the starter. It fired
right up but smoked quite a bit for a minute or two. I don't know why they
have a manual glow plug position if the tractor will take care of it on its
own.
