[AT] Cold in NE Penna

Its been well below average  temperatures here throughout January. Sold last of our hay stored in our barn. It was a poor hay year here due to too much rain throughout the Summer. My brother-in-law had a Case 585  follow him home recently and can't wait for Spring. Fresh painted before bought so looks good; 1324 hours and sounds solid. Bought from private owner. $5,500. Sold my Ford 6000 commander to a young neighbor  farmer. I really like him; admire his enthusiasm about farming. I gave him, for free , my tow behind Massey Harris #55  combine. 6 foot cut and hasn't been used for 15 years. I wish i was 21 instead of 81 to be around him in years to come to help getting him started raising small grains for his cattle & sheep. Sorry for rambling ! Going nuts stuck in the house with temperatures in single numbers; wind chill values at zero or below zero at night. Joe Hardisky Ryman Farm, Dallas PA
