I think you’re right that with the different options email is probably the least popular with today’s crowd.

I belong to other groups that are web forum based and Facebook. If I had to rate them I’d start with this email forum, then web based, with Facebook coming in last. Not that Facebook doesn’t have good and knowledgeable posters, but there are far more that I wouldn’t take advice from there. Quantity doesn’t always equate to quality.

So as long as Spencer continues to keep this place up and running, I look forward to each and every post that comes in here. Although the list is much quieter now than it used to be.

Sadly I think it is a changing of the guards. I joined these lists (Ford-Ferguson, Farmall, Antique Tractor) 23 years ago when email, instant messenger, and a few forums were the only real internet communications. But today with all of the social media, you tube, and a lot more websites, message groups appear to have fallen off. I also know our local antique tractor club has had trouble getting new blood, don’t know if it is a matter of lack of interest in the tractors, or lack of interest in meeting people face to face. Our area shows are still well attended by all ages.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Is this list just this sparse, or am I
missing posts? It's been very quiet lately, about the last 4 months.

Regards,
Mike M
