[AT] 800 Ford tractor 3 point

Live hydraulics on the 600/800 series - no PTO engagement needed.

I’m not a really a hydraulic expert so not sure I can offer much more than this and it’s
is a very foggy memory: I remember somebody local with a remote hydraulics adapter to power a front loader on a gas 801. I remember him mentioning that he couldn’t use the three point with the loader attached.

I had an adapter to power two rear ports on my 861. I had no trouble using the lift with the adapter. But his adapter was quite different since he was running two cylinders and his valve was quite a bit different as well.

So I guess my suggestion is, if the tractor has a aftermarket remote hydraulic adapter I would be looking there first.

We need that for lift other stuff in the future. So we attached it to the 3 point on a Ford 800 only to find out the 3 point isn’t working at all. The dipstick shows being full of hydraulic oil. The next step is to try to bleed system at the pump up font. Assuming we are successful at that and it still doesn’t work what would you recommend for further diagnostic checks? The 3 Son’s have no knowledge of tractors at all and I have very limited knowledge regarding the N Series on up. I’m trying to help since they are allowing me shop space free of charge.
