[AT] Mystery port on Super M water pump

One possibility is it could be a port to connect an external heater to warm up engine. Cold Climates sometimes use Webasto or Arctic Fox type of coolant heaters.

I think I agree with Brad.  Probably to transfer heat to some option/implement/material.   Small heater core in a heated cab?

Couldn’t find it in the operator’s manual, and photos of new replacement water pumps don’t show any port there.   A well-done farmer mod, perhaps for purposes of adding a block heater?  Or for circulating hot water through something else?   Anybody ever seen one in that location?
