My sentiments exactly.   The LED headlights are so bright that I can't 
see for a few seconds after meeting one.  I have to look at the fog line 
to stay on the road.  My dad taught me that trick when he taught me to 
drive at night 50 years ago..   IMHO LED lights are brighter, but they 
do not have the distance focus that the old sealed beam lights did.
