 I wear a mask also.   It is a PIA. but I am one of the ones that could have bad outcomes from the Zombie Apolitze so why not. 

I believe if everyone would follow the simple rules this thing could die down and save a lot of lives. It will not completely go away until a vaccine is developed.  

People need to be able to go back to work.
The same thing happened during the FLUE pandemic. People refused to wear masks. Americans hate to be told what to do. :-}

  My personal opinion is if you have so much confidence in the stupid paper or even worse, cloth mask then you wear your mask and protect yourself. These cheap pieces of garbage take droplets which don't travel far due to weight and aerosalize them where they go much farther. Don't tie a bandanna on your face and tell me you are "preventing the spread". That is just silly. Same with any other cloth or paper mask. Nothing but social conditioning for an illness with a high 90% survival rate. Does not minimize the losses but does not justify hysteria.

These days, a teacher, especially at the college level, darn near needs an associate's degree in Electrical Technology to operate all the classroom electronics. 

I had enough trouble, 10 years back, as an adjunct instructor, just dealing with the electronic whiteboard in a small computer-lab classroom.

It's going to be interesting how this all unfolds.   I work in IT at University of Iowa, so for me this work from home has been pretty much business as usual so I'm very lucky in that regard. I work closely with the folks that maintain the classrooms (due to podium technology) and they are equipping far more rooms to keep the class sizes down. In addition some will attend the classroom while others participate online.   But as John says, the dorms and apartment complexes are confined spaces. And lets be honest, when Friday night and the weekend roll around, how many teen and 20-somethings are going to want to social distance? We saw pictures of Spring Break in the south. I presume we're going to see an uptick in our county numbers in early October.   2020 has been a shit-show of a year, plus it's an election year on top of it. I'll be so glad to put this year in the rear view mirror, things have got to get better....right?   Brad
