[AT] Tractor based tree pruning

I was driving East on I-90 in New York about 9 or 10 years back and looked to my right at a small New Holland tractor in a vineyard. It had arms out front that were twisting and weaving and appeared to be trimming the vines. 

[ Stephen Offiler] is that there's no "shoe" (for lack of a better term) and the whole circular blade is just whipping around in space.  I would NOT want that thing anywhere near a power line!
