That is a good idea Herb. Don,t think mine will have that access
although i am close to the wheel chair. But can work ok if i get in cab
of back hoe.And i have a friend that has a couple excavators if needed.
May come true yet.

Yes, sawdust or straw was used to insulate the snow/ice that was put in
the ice house in winter. We used to have a nice little log ice house
here when I was a kid .. Long gone now but I have dreams of building a
replica of it some day..
