Wayne, are the plug wires copper core or are they the automotive style 
carbon core resistance wires? I could see your problem happening if they 
were resistance wires and they were the longest 2. (or the 2 with the 
most resistance) For magneto, the copper wires should be used. Also make 
sure the plugs don't have excessive gaps.  Doug T
