That's a gook point, Kevin. If you don't have an angle grinder, a hack 
saw will work to make the cuts. Try to avoid making the cuts at the very 
beginning of the threads, or you might have trouble starting the "tap" 
into the manifold.

The same technique also works for spark plug threads, using a "junk"
spark plug.
