Dudley,  I spent a good deal of time trying to reason with Walt off list and 
to get him to realize how abrasive and disruptive he was.  He was/is, in my 
opinion, just a sad old fellow reaching out for
friendship but he had no clue how to go about it in a reasonable way.  He 
created his own problems.  A group can not function with one member who 
constantly disrupts it, particularly when he turns to
doing things that are unethical if not illegal behind the scenes.  I think 
some of us might be forgetting how Walt treated us.

I hope Walt is doing well but I don't miss him on the list.

Technically speaking, in somebody's world you may be correct.  But for me
"technical correctness" in personal interactions is growing dimmer by the
day and the question is becoming "how did I treat my fellowman ... how did
I treat Walt?"  I love this group, have been a member for a number of
years and have gotten great enjoyment from it.  I only wish I could also
say that while it was big enough to include me it was not big enough to
include Walt ...
