[Farmall] Gas tank residue

I agree with Carl.  The more you can remove it in chunks and pieces the 
better.  Maybe you can improvise a sort of spatula out of a strip of 
sheet metal to scrape under it, and grab out chunks with ice tongs or 
big "tweezers"..  Why solubilize all that gunk if you don't have to.
