Mattias, you'd like our weather I think. Daytime highs around -4c, thats 
about 25F for the rest of you. No major snow fall for a few weeks now but we 
still  have all the snow that fell since early December of course. You've 
had far more snow than us. At a guess I'd say over the whole winter we have 
had about 16 inches (less than half a metre) . I don't know what the ground 
temperature is because it is generally frozen solid for a few feet down by 
this time of year and pretty hard to get a thermometer into.:-)

The ground is warm here to, luckily. I don't want to know how it would be
outside otherwise. It has fallen 2.70 meters of snow but it's only 80 cm
since it has melted from below and a whole lot the last weekend. The last
weekend was the first days above freezing since dec. 12. Since it has been
melting from underneath the small creek we have has been like in the spring
since Dec. 15th but with some ice.

We sure don't want this weather, you can keep it Ralph!
