You NEVER know what you are going to find when you are working behind 
someone else. A few years back I put a new thermostat in my combine. The old 
one had a piece of sheet metal "wedged" in such a way as to keep the 
thermostat from completely closing. The sheet metal had the writing Standard 
Valve and was either stainless or chrome plated.
