[Farmall] Sleeves for a Regular

If the sleeves are that bad, I wonder how much metal is missing from the
block in the areas where it holds the sleeves. Definitely worth
inspecting.

If the block was okay, and I couldn't find new sleeves, then I'd think
about sandblasting the corroded areas, filling them with JB Weld or PC-7
and filing or turning the joint areas smooth. That'd at least give the
new seals a smooth surface to work against.

On my Farmall C, the block to new sleeve fit seemed a bit loose, so I did
use silicone sealant on the O-rings. They need to be lubricated anyway.

I know what you mean about old lubricant. I doubt that transmissions ever
got drained and refilled. And I KNOW that steering gearboxes on the O-12
type tractors never did; there's no drain plug. I spent a couple of days
scrubbing the goop out of one.
