In my area, the places such as Autozone, NAPA, etc. take it, so long as
you buy your new oil from them. Also, ask any old farmers, or
fertilizer spreaders in the area. They frequently use it to coat
equipment or the inside of fertilizers beds to prevent rust.
Note, depending on which model pump you have, it may use a seal, or may
use an o ring. A seal is nice in that if the shaft is grooved the new
seal is thinner and can simply be seated to a different depth.
