[AT] Cylinder Packing

I sounds to me as if you are leaking past the pistons on a single acting
cylinder. Probably nothing more than the proper o-ring to fix if the
cylinder bore is okay. Make sure the breather is open, or the oil can
get drawn past the piston, also. I get cylinders repaired at the local
hydraulic shop that specializes in such things as hydraulic jacks,
cylinders, motors, etc. They will sell the necessary seals over the
counter. There should be some place like that near you.

The seals must hold on the bottom of the cylinder or hydraulic fluid leaks around the seals and fills up the tube. Then, when I raise the loader oil squirts out the side of the cylinders. To remove the top cap you pull up on a wire embedded in the cap and spin the caps loose past the wire... The caps are not designed to hold pressure. (In my opinion a very crappy design.)
