[AT] OK, did somebody leave the list exhaust stack uncovered?

Same here. years ago, for what ever reason, I 'had' to have a JD 720LP.   As 
you said, the pistons looked brand new, even after thousands of hours. But, 
get low on fuel, and it's crisis time. I sold it and at least got my money 
back out of it :)
