In my hometown in the late fifties and up until about 1966, there was a
Crosley Hotshot with an aluminum open wheeled racing body on it. Looked
like a side-by-side two seat racer that was street legal. Probably
mostly homemade and patterned after the Crosley Segbring race car. It
went through several owners and even more drivers. A real ball. I have
no idea where it went, but I sure would like to have it today. It had a
cast block and a manifold sporting two carbs with the exhaust outside
the body much like the midget racers.
