[Steam-engine] Richard Rorvig Memorial Service

[Ted Knack]

Hi Frank                                                       As you
know ,we were in the group who came to pay our respects to Richard.Eddie
Classen,Gary Schacth,and Me. We did run into the conditions you
mentioned from Alex to the show grounds.Gary left his farm at 4 in the
morning and didnt return to Wis. till midnight.One thing we talked about
was if Richard would see you at a show or auction he always had time to
come over and talk to you.Maybe some times the conversation was  more on
Richards side but he still took the time to talk to you.Eddie helped
Richard on Jim Bridens 110 at the Dalton show one year.Yes the MSEA
ASS.has lost a leader on the legeslative committe who was responcible
for where our group is today with the Hobby boilers.Because of him other
States also have benifited from his efforts.       Ted Knack
