Hey Tom,  How about sending me the secrets of that visualizaton technique? 
LOL.  I need all the help I can get lately!

To effectively grade with a rear blade you need something with down pressure 
hydraulics so it will force the blade to the ground.
Otherwise the blade will skip over the high/hard spots and dig into the low, 
soft ones.  A good operator can work around that by constantly adjusting the 
lift but it's still easier and faster with down pressure.
