Ralph something jogged my memory and it seems to me that I had a similar
problem several years ago. I don't remember exactly what happened but all
of my e-mail went missing. It turned out that I had an old version of OE on
the computer and all of the messages had gone to the message folders in the
old version. I don't think that was on this XP machine. I believe it was
on my old Win 98 machine. Try going to "My Computer"/Program Files and see
if you find any other folders that might be holding the mail.
