Hi, you might want to try this also, do what Larry said and as soon as 
the wield is done cool in a little box of lime, it makes toe heat go off 
slowly thru the whole casting and produces a much stronger finished 
piece without crystalizing next to the wield, works good when cutting 
and shortening car axles or wielding up broken axles also. Ed
