Yes they do tend to run the horse shows in the ground. This year their line
up is some what different than in the past. Just for fun pull up their web
site and see how much it has changed. Like you I do not care much for horse
shows but they have things other than horses that I like and I think other
list members would like.

You mean the Horsey-people channel?  I have pretty much quit watching since
it became 95% horse shows.  Any shows that I am interested in are during the
day in the middle of the week or middle of the night.  All prime time shows
are horses.
