I would agree.  I used to pull 2-14's with my H, which had oversize
pistons, hot cam, modified ignition curve, etc.  Third gear in sandy
ground, second in light clay.  We bought the farm next to us in 1957,
which had been rented for about 10 years by a farmer that took
everything off and never plowed anything under.  The first time I
started plowing I thought something was wrong with the H.  Dad just
explained 'humas' in the soil.  After plowing under wheat and oat
straw and 'green fertilizer' for a few years, I was back to third
gear.
