BTW...
In addition to the stuff I found that has been discussed, I also came across a McCormick bottom plow setup and what appears to be a McCormick four row planter. I say this because it is of IH red color. Both of these things have been "barned" since the time Moses parted the Red Sea.
Any comments on those things?

Well I grew up with tractors all around me, Ny dad was a college prof. so
my tractor education was limited until I finally bought my own.

I actually farmed with all these, and w6 and w9. Only the w9 could do 4 plows
My
experience (Limited) is that the Cub and A cost more then a C, H, or M I
think this is because the C, H, and M are considered 2 big for the 1 acre
yard people and the C and H are a little to small and old for todays farms
(Although you still see a lot of them in use doing the light jobs)
In short, you can get a lot of tractor for the money with a H
My good friend (retired IH dealer, now deceased),,,, when asked
"What was the best tractor ever?",, replied, "Well, the H was the most
abused and overconfident"
