That is not unlike the old tale about the farmer who grew tired of having his watermelons being pilfered from his patch....
  He put out a sign reading "NOTICE...ONE OF THESE MELONS HAS BEEN POISONED".
  The next day he visited his garden only to find someone had written under his words "NOW, TWO OF THEM ARE POISONED".
