[AJD] 1650

I certainly have been called worse Greg..lol. Well I just bought 14 acres
in a nice area of small farms.. It's the best I could do at the time..
However.. The old restored JD 70 Gas spent the whole day out there with a
bush hog mowing down old growth briars.(Some of the vines were bigger than
my forearm). All those small estate orange tractors were certainly green
with envy.. Most of the neighbors said their tractor could not do that job
at all... Just wait till I bring out the 10 foot KBA Disk and show them how
the front yard is going to be turned and then seeded with a FB-A Grain drill
with grass.. Then smoothed over with the 3 panel spike harrows I have..

I suspect it would be the beginning of some tractor wars.. Me with my old
stuff and Yuppies with Orange tractors...

Let the fun begin..Just wait till I bring the 30 combine up there to harvest
grass seed... It will be a riot..

Dennis

Now I think Dennis is a mystic on top of everything else! His prediction is
uncannily close to
becoming reality.
Close to the place where the 1250 is, massive legions of yellow metal
monsters have been
scraping dirt all summer. Where a small modest bridge once provided access
across a mostly non-
existent creek a massive four lane superspan of bridge is rising. Methinks
that this latest
growth threat is going to be somewhat larger than I had first anticipated. A
happenstance
conversation with the local fire chief revealed how much larger, he had been
told that up to
3000 homes will eventually occupy this once vacant, and to the developers,
useless pasture. Not
surprising really in view of the tremendous growth in Denver, our area, and
the entire Front
Range corridor in general.
The interesting thing is that it's about one mile from the dealership!

Progress? You tell me.

Greg
