[AT] OT, MTD log splitter hydraulic cylinder repair?

One word if you can get it apart , clean ! Make sure its all squeaky clean
when you put it together .
I think Steve called it on the end retainer type .  Look for the end of a
pin sticking out somewhere .
 While you have it apart take the rod along when you go for the seal , new
cups or O rings for the piston are not that expensive .
  Any place on it to stick a pressure gauge ?   Ivan
