[AT] Checked rows - Corn planting?

Cecil,

I plant (or at least try to) my garden so it can be cultivated both
directions. This year I increased the row width so I think I could
cultivate diagonally. It may seem silly, but diagonal cultivating would
give me a chance to plant things that interfere with cross cultivating in
the triangles at each end.

I'll have to wait till next year to try it, though. :-(
