[AT] Now Trucks pulling tractors

R Fink,

You mean you wish your '83 had a solid front axle, like your '79 did?

IIRC the '79s used a series 60 front axle. I read an article in a 4wd
magazine once that said the plow trucks received a special version of the
series 60 with larger carrier bearings or something? Something that made
them stronger and fixed a weak link in that front end. I am sure you can
find a plow truck with a good rebuildable axle on it at a junkyard
somewhere.

If I could change one thing about my '95 it would be to put that same axle
on it instead of the twin I beams.
