Subject: [AT] OT-Brake controller

This is a little off topic but if we haul these tractors we need to get
stopped to unload them!! ;-)

I recently upgraded to an 02 Ford Crew Cab 4x4 Powersmoke and need to
install a brake controller in it. All my previous trucks had the Tekonsha (I
think) that were hydraulic. Those tapped into the brake system to activate.

I've been looking at the newer controllers (http://www.etrailer.com) and
noticed time delayed and proportional controllers. I'm leaning towards the
Tekonsha PRODIGY T controller. This is a proportional controller that you
don't have to set. It self levels itself to the vehicle.

I was curious if anyone has used the different time delayed vs proportional
controllers and which they preferred and why. Also if anyone has the Prodigy
controller what they think of it.

Thanks!!

Brad
