[Farmall] nuisance

There was a new subdivision built next to a dairy farm that was 4 or 5
generations old. After all the houses were occupied they complained about
the noise and smell and tried to get the farm shut down. Wonder where the
smell and noise was when they were selecting their lots and building their
houses?

In St Clair county, MI, where I live, the county is trying to buy up all
the development rights from the farmers so that we won't be overrun by
developers and can remain as rural as we are now. In Macomb county next
door, the houses are going up so fast that the county has to constantly
look at widening roads to handle the traffic.
