Wow, $550 is too much money for a 52 even if it is in really good unrestored
condition. I would struggle paying half that.

If you have trouble finding the right weight numbers for flat spoke wheels I
think I have a reference around here somewhere that will give that. As I
recall they are different than those used on the pressed steel or cast
centers but I'm not sure about that.

I think there is an ATIS member who has some D2628R weights for sale but
they may not be the right ones. I know those weights work on pressed steel
rear wheels. I suppose putting fluid in the rear tires would be another
option. I know when we plowed with the B we always had to have at least two
wheel weights on the land wheel and one on the furrow wheel. I did so much
plowing as a kid in NW Iowa I just can't remember now whether I pulled the
model 4C 2 x 16" plow with a B or an A. We had both. One 80 acre field had
half mile rows which made a complete round a long period. We plowed 24 hours
a day and three shifted the tractor.

I actually know of a 52 with 2-12s is that is complete, unbroken, unbent,
unwelded, (un-everything (-; ) and in good condition. Unfortunately, he
wants $550 for it. I initially didn't think twice about it because I
didn't think the 5xx series was "right" for the tractor. I may still not
think twice about it since it really is more than I can afford.

My 39 has flatspoke rear wheels and I have yet to research to see what
weights I need. I just haven't looked into it yet.
