This is not tractor related, but it is outdoors/rural, etc. related.
Does anyone know if the old wive's tale that you can put out bubble gum
to get rid of groundhogs is true? If so, what brand works best? ;) I
have a clan of them living under my porch and I need to get rid of them
because they are going to undermine my foundation soon. They are an
elusive bunch and I have not had a good chance to shoot them.

Also, any advice on eliminating muskrats from a pond? I have a family of
them in my pond, and they can weaken the dam and can cause the pond to
drain. I would shoot the buggers, but I can't get a good shot at them
since they are always in the water. I'm thinking maybe a snare trap
would be good if I set it near their hole in the water. I think my
granpa used to get them with traps, but it has been a long time since
they've been here and granpa is not around anymore. What works best for
those folks who have had these buggers in their pond?
