[AT] Allis Chalmers B-1 lawn tractor

Boy you said a mouthful there, Ralph. It does need weights with a big
tiller hanging on the back. I solved that problem by tying up the
mid-mount mower deck rather than taking it off, and by adding a couple
of hefty suitcase weights on the front that are actually made for the
high end Simplicity Lawn & Garden tractors. Tying up the mower deck is
the anticipated action from Kubota when you're using rear-mount
equipment. The steel tie straps are built into the mower deck mount.

Cecil, I agree that the big underground rocks do give a nasty jolt to
the
rototiller.
My brother got a Kubota 18 hp diesel this spring. Not sure but I believe
its
a 48 inch rototiller on the back too. It creeps along pretty slow in 4
wd
but you sure know it when the tiller blades hit a rock. I stood by with
the
crow bar and was able to dig a few out after the rototiller located
them.
The tractor could use a little weight on the front when the tiller is
lifted
though. That 3 cylinder diesel is sure a smooth running engine.

I'll
bet

them.
