Larry,
I have a 16' by 6'4" flatbed tandem axle trailer with brakes on the front axle. It is rated at 5000 lbs. I pull it with a half-ton Dodge pickup. I can haul 2 cubs or a cub and a golf cart easily. I have hauled a Farmall H with front end loader with no problems. It is a Gator Made trailer and was built in central Kentucky.
I use loading ramps. I find this set-up fits my needs well.

Subject: [Farmall] Tractor Hauling Trailer Recommendations

I am in the market to get a trailer to haul tractors behind my Ford F150
pickup. Any recommendations as to what I should look for and what is
handy? I probably will not haul anything bigger than my Farmall A's and
perhaps my Farmall Super C. I assume a tandem axle car hauler of some
type would work. I probably for the Super C need something with 72" width
for the back wheels of the Super C. What has folks experiences been with
tilt beds versus ramps? What else should I be looking for?

  Thanks in advance
