[AT] Out with the green tractor

Yes I believe the lower photo is the one you shared (but my memory could be off). Wow…hard to believe it’s been 10 years already. Just remember your stories of driving it down your residential street to put gas in it. Hahaha Glad it’s out on the farm now where it’s at home.

Dang, Brad, good memory… that was ten years ago, right after I’d bought the Super M from a guy who’d had it restored. I looked back through old photos and found the ones I figure you must have been remembering, and have added them in below.

On the subject of calendars, this same tractor did once make the Steiner calendar: https://antiquetractorblog.com/2021/01/14/january-featured-photo-3/. By now it’s dirtier and not quite so bright, but it still cleans up good.

It’s funny Steve mentions using Dean’s tractor pic for a desktop background. I’m reminded of the pic he shared several years ago at his old place. That M was shining like new in a freshly fallen snow. It was a picture you’d see on a calendar. But I have to admit, it is kind of nice to see those old tractors with a little working dust on them. 😊

I have always admired your 620, Dean. I have NO need for one, but I want one.

My ever-vigilant email service scrubbed out the pic, alas. But an earlier pic you sent is one of the background pics I use on my home office computer.

Warm and dry this afternoon, so I took the 620 out to back-blade some areas
in the woods where last winter I'd burned out a few stumps. I got off the
tractor to open the gates in the pasture fence, and while walking back
thought "Okay, that's a pretty handsome old beast, I'll snap a quick photo."

That went pretty well, so I tried a little video. Turns out I'm not too
skilled at holding the cell phone camera, paying attention to where it's
pointing, and operating the tractor all at the same time. I thought this
clip was longer and included more than just a second or two of the tractor
in motion. At least it sounds pretty good. And as a consolation prize, I
also ended up with a 6 minute 33 second video taken while the phone was in
my shirt pocket.

Ha ha. I resemble that remark.

Pocket video, I can relate. Would rather operate a tractor than a phone. ?

Nice looking 620, BTW.

Your weather looks nicer than the blizzard we are having too. Send some
this way.
