[AT] New to me

The C was a good little garden tractor, and had more pulling power than 
the other brands in its size.  When I worked in the tractor shop back in 
the late 60s in OKC, we put a lot of belly mowers on B and C Allis 
tractors.  I served my apprenticeship under an old mechanic who had 
worked on Model T's.  When we went through a Magneto and the carburetor 
and adjusted everything on the engine, usually 2 pulls on the crank and 
it was running. Back then we got $100 more for one with electric start.  
But at that time I was only making $1 an hour and my Dad was working for 
$100/week after a college degree in accounting..  $650 would buy one of 
those with electric start...

Engine serial number does have a G suffix(think that means gas engine) so maybe it got a gas engine  swap sometime in its history and they simply reused the all-fuel manifold? No idea. I just want the engine to pop before I route fuel lines and worry about power, performance, and idle smoothness.
