[AT] OT Ukraine and else

Hi!

Since list is slow and it's been to long since I updated I'll do that know
while Ylva is driving.
Life changes fast, back and forth. We've been on a short trip do the West
coast for various reasons (left a dog for breeding, visiting old friends in
Gothenburg and a book realese party). The book realese party was last night
and as it developed I was almost on my way to Kiev today... Well the
authors wife who is from Russia but a Swedish citizen since many years were
to deliver ambulances, other vehicles and equipment to Kiev. When we went
to bed I was more or less scheduled to go with her to Ukraine today since
they were one driver short but in the morning someone else had volunteered
so maybe next time.
Anyway one of the units recieving this equipment has a Swede, a former
officer in Sweden that quit his military job to volunteer for driving
ambulance and educate medics at the front. I've used some of your means and
mine to help this guy with encrypted satellite communication equipment and
night vision for driving at night. They can't use neither light or red
cross on vehicles and else since the Russians are targeting that. I've used
most of your funds for food medicine and rent for refugees. You've sent
almost 1800 USD that our community and the refugees are so thankful and
amazed of.
Now not much is left about 30 USD but you have really made a difference for
so many people! Thank you from me and so many others.
The refugees has settled in well now som live at the migration authorities
flats here and many has found work and places to live for them self
sometimes with help from our network. There are only four people left, one
of them is Igor that hasn't got any real places to live. The problem with
these four are that all are handicapped, old or suffering from medical
issues. They are being taken care of by the healthcare but there are
problems with where to live. If they are to be taken care of by migration
they first have to go to Malmö for registration. That's som 250 miles south
of here thereafter they will be sent to a camp in Boden more than a 1000
miles north from there, there they will live until they are relocated to
where the Migration decides. This is not human so we have been looking for
a place for the four of them in Gamleby (Yes, that's my nearest village).
Akko who leads our network has now found an apartment with separate
bedrooms for the four of them. I will hear more about this when Ylva and I
go there for sauna this evening. We have got some money from people an
businesses around here that we can use for helping them with rent since
Migration will only give the about 2 USD per day.
Other than that not many people are leaving Ukraine now and some have gone
back.

Leaving Ukraine, our part of the country are getting a drought almost like
2018. It's hard to find pastures from the sheep. The first cutting of hay
were good but far from enough, we will need a lot of rain soon if there
will be a second cutting at all and third we can forget about. But hey we
are healthy and enjoying ourselves, going to parties and concerts (Rolling
stones next Sunday).
