[AT] MF 35 D lift

Hello Dennis
I've only ever been inside the later 100 series MFs which have Pressure
Control as well as Draft & Position, so there are some differences from
the 35 which I presume you have. Four or 3 cylinder? I think my
workshop manual has a section on non Pressure Control linkages, so I'll
look this morning and scan what I can tonight. From memory, there is a
good description as well as diagrams.
Tom in NZ might have more experience, since MF was very popular there.
I've tried for years to find a set of adjustment gauges for the MF
hydraulics which are mentioned in the manual, without success,
unfortunately.
I'm curious about the course you mentioned, presumably in the UK. Please
advise more, coz I might learn something. With three 100 series
tractors, and an expensive local dealer, I'm keen on DIY :-)

John,
With the lift cover off, the main control lever moves between the down
and midway position, but locks up when trying to go to the “up”
position.
Not sure what you mean by “small roller”. If it is the roller on the
pump arm, the lift levers were in front of it.
Without some diagram I do NPT know how it is supposed to work.
Thanks
Dennis

Hello Dennis
Do you mean that the lever seems to be locked and does not move to the
"up" position? Have you re-inserted the small roller after lowering the
lift cover into position?

I am confused about how the hydraulic lift linkage is supposed to work
on my MF35D tractor. The lift lever does not move to the “up” position.
I have not yet found how the linkage is supposed to work - drawing or
video. I have seen some similar u-tube videos on TO30/TO20, and MF
multi-power, but not on the 35D.
FYI - installed new pump recently.
See attached picture of the linkage
Thanks
Dennis
