They indicate prices from $30- $200. Price is probably based on what size you need. Also, you can probably find YouTubes where people made their own vise. They’re not that complicated of a devise, just need to be sturdy. On small diameter cables I’ve been successful using several pairs of vise grips to form the cable around the eye nice and tight. Just clamp with first two, add third, move second and re-clamp, move third and re-clamp,  etc. Could probably do the same with c-clamps.  Good luck.

Does anyone know where I could find a Riggers vise or Cable Splicing 
vise?  I need to make some cable slings and I really like the woven or 
braided cable eye rather than using 3 cable clamps. I also want to put a 
new cable on my crane and a braided eye is so much easier to handle.  I 
also want to learn how to braid cable. The vise I would like is 
distributed right here in Oklahoma City, but the $800 price tag has me 
hesitating about buying it...   I still need to find a header for that 
750 Massey Combine.
