No worries Mike, just "let it rip". If it offers you a chance to save a
restore point back to whatever version you have now let it do that but as I
recall the Windows 10 upgrade automatically saves that restore point. Once
you have it installed and it boots up reliably, run that open shell file
and I think you will be well pleased.
Unrelated to the open shell interface, Windows 10 will want to download and
install new drivers for whatever hardware you have. At this point you
should have no worries since 10 has been around so long. But it could take
Windows a week of intermittent updates to get all these done.
