[AT] OT, old implements and plasma cutters

I think I understand you need the shaft to collapse into itself to fit 
your tractor.  the shortest distance for a PTO shaft is when the PTO of 
the tractor and the implement are a the same height. An 1x1.25 square 
shaft is good for about 40 hp.  However, the shaft and the female tube i 
slides into will sometimes twist if your implement does not have a slip 
clutch, or the shear pin has been replaced with a hardened bolt.   PTO 
shafts have become very expensive, and the Bondioli and Pavesi shafts 
are not my favorites.
I have a Pakmaster 42 I believe, it is the one that will cut 1/2inch 
steel.   If both little brass pins in the torch are not making contact 
with the brass ring on the cup. it will not fire. Mine does not have any 
readouts, so I have to guess.   I have a Pakmaster 82 that worked fine 
until I changed the torch to a 50ft model and it won't cut soft butter.
