Jason & Carl – I do see a copy of the email I generated in the sent file and also the inbox.

Howard - I don’t seem to have the “the listinfo link’ at the very bottom of all messages, but yours has it I will try to correct my problem by getting notice it landed in the ATS server.

Thanks all

Carl in Manlius , NY

Yes it's in sent but your replies don't appear in the forum emails.

You only see them when someone else replies back.

That's the issue they're discussing.

Doesn’t your email wind up in your “SENT” folder? You may want to check to see if it does. If it doesn’t, it may be that you have it set up to not save your sent emails.

Thanks Roger, Mike, Spencer and Dean. I can live with the system G-mail is providing now that I understand what it is doing

Yes - I see your message made it to the list.

As others have said, this is a “feature” of GMail - GMail does recieve the message that you sent to the list and the list sent out to everyone, but they hide it from you because they know it’s the same message that you sent, so no need (in their opinion) to show you 2 copies of it - the one you sent and the one you received.

Carl,

Seems like if I remember right we discussed this on ATIS in years past that Google Mail doesn’t send you a copy of your emails. I think You need to copy yourself when sending an email to the list.

Can someone here help Carl?

His posts seem to be coming through as I see them from him from time to time. But according to his email below he’s not receiving copies of them.

Seems like this was discussed here before but since I don’t use any of these technologies at work or personally I’m not sure what he might need to do to ensure that he received copies of his own emails. And CRS prevents me from remembering what was discussed in the past. :-)

Thanks in advance for helping a fellow AT-er out

Spencer

Spencer

Forgive me for hitting your personal account but for the past year or more it seems like nearly every time I try to participate in discussions the post does not show up. I am running outlook on Chrome.

I am not a big participant but occasionally I have something to say that doesn’t show up.

Is there something I am not doing on my end to clear this up? I know you have someone who is handling most of these issues but CRS is expanding in my head. Could you send me some troubleshooting tips or put me in contact with he who can?

A more than 20 year follower of this forum.
