If you go to the listinfo link at the very bottom of all messages, you can
sign in to the subscriber area and change your options.
One of them asks if you want copies of your own posts, but as discussed,
this does not work with Gmail
Another sends an acknowledgement that your post has been received by the
list and does work with Gmail.  This gives a quick confirmation that your
post is going out and is what I use.
