I’m in California, so it is definitely a wishful thought. Find out what it’s worth before you give it away. Collectible most likely.

@ John,

Really? Technically it has been parked since !980 or so (in 1978 through 1984 I was in Massachusetts and it stayed in PA). After that we never had enough snow here around that time so it never got out and I never trailered it to NY. Its Electric start, (need to find the key) and it turns over easy when I give it a pull.

@ Brad,

Someone was over the other day, saw it and asked if I wanted to sell it because he was interested which is what got me thinking about it. I do live in Eastern PA, around Easton so not sure how close that is to you.

Anyway, I'm not using it and it's taking up garage space and I'm not sure what a fair price is for it. Before I do anything, let me see if I can get some pictures tomorrow when I'm up at my mother's house.

I just realized that since my other email, bloomis was removed at my request, my originals don't show up. Guess I don't need to read what I already wrote. 😊 One of these days I'll go look at my settings.

I sent this earlier, but didn’t ever see it show up, other than my sent mail. My response….

If you were within 600 miles I’d be right over.

You need to check with Deere collectors--sounds to me you are way too cheap if its in decent shape. I see some mentions of Deere snowmobiles on Facebook every so often. Anything related to their snowmobiles is sought after by collectors.

All,

I have a 1973 JD 400 snowmobile that I put 150 miles on and that's it. Thinking of selling it and wondering if $700 is a fair price. Looking for opinions.
