LeRoy,

JD Snowmobiles are a collector item, especially one with that low of hours. Check out this Facebook site on JD Snowmobiles: “John Deere Snowmobiles - JDsleds.com”

There are a couple more Facebook sites just for JD Snowmobiles. Look up Greg Stephen on Facebook and message him with your question. I don’t know if he is The expert but he knows quite a bit about them since he used to be a JD Dealer and seems to have an affinity to the JD Snowmobiles. I know next to nothing about these Snowmobiles or their value so I cannot offer any pricing advice. But seems to me that something with those low hours would get some attention really quick. There are also some Free JD Auction sites on Facebook that might be something to look at as an option. The “The John Deere Auction Group - New And Improved!” auction site is one I can recommend. Facebook auctions are not quite as polished as EBay but the job gets done.

Subject: [AT] Off Topic - JD Snowmobile

All,

I have a 1973 JD 400 snowmobile that I put 150 miles on and that's it. Thinking of selling it and wondering if $700 is a fair price. Looking for opinions.

LeRoy
